Soccer

Walpole Youth Soccer will be attending the Boston Breakers [Womens Professional Soccer] game against Sky Blue FC at Harvard Stadium on Sunday June 13th at 4pm. Parking is free and we WILL plan to tailgate. More details and ticket ordering details will follow.

As a bonus – some of our players will get a chance to be ball girls or participate in the half time tunnel – stay tuned for more details on how you may win a chance to do this.

Check back on 6/1 for information on how to order your team or individual tickets for the game.

Fall 2010 Registration and Travel Tryouts

Registration – the registration system for Fall 2010 is not yet working – but will be available soon. When registration opens for Fall – we will be registering players from K thru 8th grad.

In-Town Soccer – We have an in-town program for K, u7 [1st grade], u8 [2nd grade], u9 [3rd grade] and u10 [4th grade]. More details to follow.

Travel Soccer Tryouts – Tryouts for travel teams in the BAYS travel league are for u10 [4th graders], u11 [5th graders], u12 [6th graders], u13 [7th graders] and u14 [8th graders]

Tryouts
Please click on the “TRYOUTS” button on the left for all the details about the tryout process.

It is always hard to schedule tryouts because of all the school activities [concerts, graduations, sports, trips, field days] and all the non school activities including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Dance Recitals, Jamborees, Soccer State Cup, Soccer MTOC, Soccer BAYS playoff games, Club soccer tryouts and other sports and activities. We have done the best we can to look at all the major conflicts. If you see a major conflict – please let us know ASAP. We do understand that baseball and softball and other sports will have playoffs around these times – but they have not posted any playoff schedules – so it is possible that when they do – some individual players may have conflicts. Also rain-outs for many activities can create conflicts at the last moment.

BOYS TRYOUTS – Friday June 11th
** All soccer age-groups and grades are for Fall **
u14 Boys FRI 6/11 2:30-4pm [Fall soccer age u13 & u14 and/or Fall 7th/8th graders]
u12 Boys FRI 6/11 4:15-5:45 [Fall soccer age u12 and/or Fall 6th graders]
u11 Boys FRI 6/11 4:15-5:45 [Fall soccer age u11 and/or Fall 5th graders]
…………… for example current spring soccer age u10 / generally spring 4th graders – will attend u11 tryouts …..
u10 Boys FRI 6/11 6-7:45 [Fall soccer age u10 and/or Fall 4th graders]

2010 WYSA Summer Camp

We are firming up the plans for Walpole Youth Soccer Summer Camp. Last year we had a great camp for Boys and Girls u10 thru u14, and we also had a camp for High School Girls.

We believe that Camp will be August 16 [Monday] thru August 20 [Friday]

We are finalizing our plans for Fall 2010 tryouts and information will be posted this weekend.

Tryouts – we are working through the school calenders for end of year activities, including concerts, graduations, and sports jamborees – and are trying to firm up the dates as soon as possible.
Boys Tryouts – will likely be on Friday June 11th
Girls Tryouts – we are working on.
