Spring Tryouts for Select BAYS Travel Teams

0

From the Walpole Youth Soccer Association website:

div class=field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hiddendiv class=field-itemsdiv class=field-item even property=content:encodedpWe plan to hold our tryouts for our Select Fall soccer teams in early June. As always, with over 1,000 registered players, it can be difficult to coordinate the dates without conflicts. The anticipated dates are as follows:/p
pBoys; Fri June 8th ALL age groups u10-u14 between 2-8pm (early release for public schools)br /
Girls; Mon June 11th u10 amp; u11 between 4-8pmbr /
Wed June 13th u12 amp; u14 between 4-8pmbr /
Rain-date/make-up; Mon June 18th or Tue June 19th /p
pPlease let us know if you are aware of conflicts that would impact the availability of a number of players. /p
pTryouts are scheduled each Spring for players currently in Grades 3 through 7 in order to evaluate players prior to the Fall roster submission to BAYS, which is due in June. /p
pAs a reminder, ALL players wishing to play on Select travel teams MUST attend a tryout. If a player is unable to attend their designated tryout, they MUST contact the respective boys or girls coordinator with a reason why the player is unable to attend, and attend a separate tryout on the make-up date. /p
pIt is NOT necessary to attend tryouts to play on a balanced team. All players registered before July 1st (when the registration moves to ‘Waitlist Status’) will be assured of placement on a Fall team. /p
pALL players wishing to tryout MUST be registered for the Fall, or Fall amp; Spring seasons, by noon on the day before their designated tryout. Registration is currently OPEN at a href=http://www.walpolesoccer.orgwww.walpolesoccer.org/a Players not registered cannot tryout. /p
pThe tryouts will be held at Mylod Fields and are DROP OFF only. It has been WYSA’s long standing policy that parents are not permitted on the fields during tryouts. This eliminates coaching from the sidelines. We ask that parents drop off their players and return at the end of the tryout for pick up./p
