Hi Everybody,
There is going to be a try out for the Boys U10 (and potentially a U9) Spring travel soccer program on Saturday December 19th at Forekicks in Norfolk. The idea is to have the boys registered for Spring soccer show up and play games that morning. They will be assessed for skill, speed, competitiveness etc and a decision will be made about the possibility of fielding teams at both age groups. It is expected that the format will be:
4th Grade Boys 8-9.15am
3rd Grade Boys 9.30-10.45am
Typically in the Spring, the boys programs have dropped in size due to the number of other sports that are played in Walpole. This year we have a particularly strong group of players. The U10 (4th grade) team will move up to U11 soccer in the Fall and begin playing the 8 vs 8 format. This will give the coaches a chance to work with those players in anticipation of that change. If there is sufficient interest we will also field a U9 travel team.
Please RSVP with;
Your son’s interest in playing travel soccer (games are usually played within a 30 min drive radius)
Their school grade
Their ability to come to the tryout. If they wish to be considered but cannot attend, please let us know the circumstances.
Thanks,
Callum
